Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

The website hubspotconsulting.co.uk is operated by ZED Group Ltd (company number 11131409) - a consulting firm trading under the name Zed Consulting (zedconsulting.co.uk).

This Privacy Policy explains how ZED Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us when you visit our website or engage our HubSpot CRM consulting, development and support services. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and with care.

1. Information we collect

When you contact us through our website enquiry form, we collect the details you provide - typically your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and any message you send us.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you browse our site, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies. Where this involves third-party analytics tools, we only collect it if you have agreed to analytics cookies - see section 7 for the detail.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries, provide and improve our consulting, development and support services, arrange consultations, and communicate with you about your project.

Where you have agreed, we may occasionally send you relevant updates or insights. You can opt out of these at any time.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in operating and growing our business - always balanced against your rights.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our business - for example, our CRM and email platforms - and only to the extent necessary. These providers are bound to protect your data.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Where you agree to analytics cookies, limited technical information about your visit is also shared with our analytics provider, as described in section 7.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies and third-party analytics

Our website uses two kinds of cookies. The first are strictly necessary cookies, which are needed for the site to function and to remember the choices you make here. The second are analytics cookies, set by a third-party analytics tool, which help us understand how the site is being used. We ask for your agreement before any analytics cookies are set.

When you first visit, we show a short cookie notice with an Accept and a Decline option. If you accept, we record that choice in a first-party cookie named “cookie_pref”, which lasts for twelve months so that we do not have to ask again. If you decline, we store nothing at all and no analytics tools are loaded - we will simply offer you the choice again on your next visit. Declining does not affect how the site works.

Where you accept, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use our site - for example which pages are read, how long visitors stay, the approximate location, device and browser used, and the source that brought you here. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for this purpose. We use the resulting reports in aggregate to improve the site, and we do not use them to try to identify individual visitors.

Because Google operates globally, information collected through Google Analytics may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards Google puts in place, such as UK and EU standard contractual clauses. Google's own privacy notice governs how it processes that information as a separate data controller.

You can change your mind at any time. Clearing the cookies for this site in your browser will remove your recorded preference and the notice will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install Google's official browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all websites. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working as intended.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
